Frequently Asked Questions

Is coming to counselling a sign of weakness?

No, accessing counselling is a sign of strength, an acknowledgement that something is not 'quite right' and having the bravery to acknowledge that and want to do something about it.

What will it cost me?

In terms of money depending on your personal circumstances between £25-£35 per session.

In terms of time 50 minutes per session.

In terms of commitment that you will attend regularly on time, and let me know if you are unable to attend.

What is my safeguard?

I am supervised regularly as a Counsellor by a qualified counselling Supervisor. I am a Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I adhere to their code of practice. This protects us both as counsellor and client. For futher information contact www.bacp.co.uk
