I offer counselling within easy reach of Southampton and New Forest Area.

My name is Jane Bowen and I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor. I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, I am working toward acceditation. I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Integrative simply means that I combine aspects of several models of therapy to meet the needs of each individual client. I offer a safe, confidential service, in which you are given an opportunity to express thoughts and feelings with a therapist and gain a deeper understanding of 'you' as a unique individual. I live within easy reach of the New Forest including Hythe, Fawley, Lymington, Lyndhurst, Totton and Southampton.

  • Cerificate in Therapeutic Counselling.

  • Advanced Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling.

  • Advanced Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.

  • Accredited Alcohol Concern Voluntary Counsellor.

    I have also attended many short courses, some of these include:-

    Brief Solution Focused Therapy, Dual Diagnosis, Brief Psychodynaic Therapy Training, Assertiveness Training, Groupwork Skills Training, Childhood Sexual Abuse, Anxiety Managment. DBT Skills Training. Problem Gambling Issues. I incorporate all these skills into my practice. I am at the present time training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
